Well... I took some time off due to my wedding and now it's been 4 months. It's time to start exercising again. Since I haven't done anything for 4 months, my knees are too weak to run(probably my shins too). So, it's biking now. Started last Wednesday with 3 of my friends and went out to a paved trail. We did about 9 miles in an hour. Not bad for a first go at it.
Since then I went riding Thorsday, Friday, Saturday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. I hope to be riding 6 days a week taking Friday's. I figure I have more time on the weekends, so why take those days off.
Anyway, I went about 18ish miles miles yesterday with Danny on the Starkey Trail. It was about a 2 hour ride. Kinda slow but that was with waiting for the ranger to leave so we could sneak in the the park and with a few rest breaks.
Tonight I'm biking with the wife. I figure I'll go for about an hour with her at a slower pace and then take another 2 hours at a moderate pace with some intervals thrown in.
I hope I keep both this blog and my fitness training going. Being winded after walking around Walmart sucks. Plus the ultimate goal is to be strong enough and have enough endurance to be able to practice parkour. Hey, maybe one day I'll enter a Triathlon! (maybe?)
